Onboarding
Current Filers
You filed last year’s taxes
- New clients will receive an email invite to create a login with Intuit Link
- New and returning clients will receive an email to sign an engagement letter, fill out a questionnaire and upload documents on Intuit Link
- Learn about the Audit Confidence Program and elect in or out on your questionnaire
- Pay your deposit invoice
Delinquent Filers
You have not filed last year’s taxes
- We will have a phone call to gather information on your tax situation for each delinquent year in question
- You will receive an email invite to create a login with Intuit Link
- You will receive an email to sign an engagement letter, fill out a questionnaire and upload documents on Intuit Link
- Pay your full invoice
- You will receive an email requesting IRS POA access

Preparation
Current Filers
You filed last year’s taxes
- Taxes are prepared
- You may receive an email or phone call from us. It’s important to stay aware of potential correspondence so you don’t fall to the back of the preparation queue from no-contact
- You will receive an email requesting your signature on form 8879 and a copy of your finalized return to review
Delinquent Filers
You have not filed last year’s taxes
- We will access IRS records and gather all income information the IRS has on you for the years in question
- Taxes are prepared
- You will receive an email requesting your signature of form 8879 and a copy of your finalized return to review
THE PROCESS | STEP 3
Finalization
Current Filers
You filed last year’s taxes
- Review and sign your return
- Once you sign, we will e-file it with the IRS, and with the state if applicable
- If you owe and provided us your bank details, your tax will be withdrawn from your bank account within days of signing.
- If you owe and you did not provide you bank details, you will need to manage payment. We recommend logging in directly to IRS.gov to pay.
Delinquent Filers
You have not filed last year’s taxes
- Review and sign your return
- Once you sign, we will e-file the returns from three years previous and print and mail older returns.
- If you owe and can pay, we recommend paying the IRS directly on IRS.gov.
- If you owe within the last three years and provided your bank details, the tax will be withdrawn after signing.
- If we are working with you to resolve your tax debt, the tax preparation phase is complete and now the tax relief phase will begin.
- The IRS does not issue refunds for returns that are over 3 years old.
