Authorize IRS Power of Attorney

  1. Navigate to IRS.gov
  2. In the top right hand corner, click Sign In.
  1. Login with ID.me or create an ID.me account
  1. Find along the top bar the Authorizations tab. Hover over it to see two options. Select the option titles Power of Attorney
  1. On the Power of Attorney page, find the Online Authorizations Requests and select to Authorize.
